At e-Potpourri, we often feature the latest in coffee machines but coffee may not be your thing. If you like nothing better than a cup of tea at the beginning, or end, of a day (or in-between times), the Breville Automatic Tea Maker and Kettle might just be the new kitchen gadget for you.
Being made of high Quality Duran Schott glass allows you to watch the brewing process in action. The tea basket, for the chosen tea leaves, will automatically lower and lift for optimum tea taste at the correct temperature.
As with all things Breville, you would expect the best and newest of technologies and this tea maker does not disappoint. Amongst others, it comes with: 3 preset variable tea strengths; 5 preset variable temperature settings; accurate temperature sensor; 60 minute keep warm function and an LCD timer which monitors the freshness of the brewed tea. Of course, if you just want a hot cup of water, it’ll make that for you too!
No longer will coffee makers take centre stage with hot beverages with this tea maker around.
The Breville Automatic Tea Maker and Kettle comes at a recommended retail price of $299.95

It’s pretty cool, but its blue and purple stylings and general look resemble a bong too much for me to really take it seriously.
