Copenhagen based industrial designers Claus Jensen and Henrik Holbæk began the Tools Design company in 1989 when they first started out designing electronic and medical equipment. Lucky for us, they also design household products and the Smiley Bowl is just one of those products.
This beautiful bowl, which comes in a ray of colours, can be used as a serving bowl (of anything you wish) or quite simply as a piece of art.
Characterised by the Tools design approach of putting ‘something extra’ into their products, the rounded shape of the smiley bowl is made of laminated glass, creating stunning varying tones and shades, and was specifically designed to contrast against modern homes which are often angular with rectangular lines.
