We’ve covered a fair few designer speaker systems here on EP, all of which have been distinctive in their own way, but this speaker system known as the Music Chocolate and designed by Michi Jjung is the first ottoman based speaker system we’ve thrown your way and, in all honesty, we’re not even certain that we like it.
Agreed, being seated on a speaker is an experience in itself if the volume’s ramped up and the music’s right (I’ve sat on and been asked not to sit on many a speaker in my clubbing days) but, whilst we don’t have any issues in this respect, we do have reservations from an aesthetic standpoint as (and perhaps its just us) this is hardly the most visually alluring of seating solutions we’ve featured to date and, in fact, we’d happily go further in calling Michi Jjung’s Music Chocolate Ottoman Speaker System damned ugly.
There’s no word concerning either pricing or availability just as there is any particular detail whatsoever concerning features such as output, frequency range and so forth except to say that it comes complete with AUX-in connectivity allowing you to hook up everything from iPhones and iPods to just about any DAP, PMP or CD Player.
It doesn’t do it for us, how about you?
