In terms of sheer desirability, the Multipass MintPad mini multimedia web tablet undoubtedly flies straight in at the upper reaches of sheer, unadulterated ‘lustworthyness’ (okay, so that’s not a word, but when it comes to the Multipass MintPad we feel compelled to let it stand as we’re completely smitten).
Offering all the functionality of a PMP (portable media player) combined with internet access courtesy of the MintPad’s integrated WiFi connectivity, this highly compact and extremely versatile device, which measures in at a mere 3.08″ x 2.51″ x 0.60″, will allow you to listen to music, play videos, blog, browse the net and even engage in a little instant messaging thanks to a host of dedicated custom applications run by a highly customised version Windows CE 5.0.
Of course, one of the drawbacks of the Multipass MintPad’s diminutive proportions is that the MintPad’s display comes in at a mere 2.86” which means that your perspective on matters will be particularly restrictive but, frankly, who could possibly hold that against such a versatile gadget that manages to pack in so much functionality into a package that’s so very pocket friendly that you’ll barely know you have it on your person.
Unfortunately, the Multipass MintPad WiFi Multimedia Touchscreen Tablet is only available in Korea at the time of writing where it retails for and alarmingly reasonable 198,000KRW (which equates to around $157 at the time of writing).
We can only hope that the Multipass MintPad eventually makes it outside of Korea though, personally, we won’t be holding our breath.
