Whilst we’ve covered a host of Nintendo Wii add-ons on our sister site, TFTS, we’ve not felt that any of them have quite been EP material – up until we came across these Lightsaber add-ons for the Wii’s Remotes known as the Thrustmaster Glow Sabers (one could be excused for assuming these to be vibrators with a name like that) which are intended specifically for use with the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed software title.

Coming, as the name suggests, in a pack of two Lightsabers – one red, one green, each Wii Remote Lightsaber features no less than 17 individual LEDs to produce that ‘Lightsaber effect’ and, whilst we wouldn’t argue that these fall very much into the ‘all things whimsical’ category (were we to have one) there’s just something that we especially like about them.

Had these have been vibrators, these Nintendo Wii Remote Lightsabers could have brought a new meaning to the phrase ‘Feel The Force’ but…

The Thrustmaster Glow Saber Duo Pack retails for just shy of $35 at the time of writing.
