Jacob Mathew’s Designer 2.1 Stereo Stiletto Speakers & Subwoofer Purse

Jacob Mathew is no stranger to anyone who’s ever come across particularly novel speaker systems – his work is widely well known (remember the headless dog speakers?) – and now we have this equally novel 2.1 speaker system comprising of two 3-way stereo speakers mounted in a pair of stilettos paired with a subwoofer housed in a patent leather purse.

Billed as producing an engaging sound that’s ‘sure to sweep you off your feet’, it’s hard not to find Jacob Mathew’s Stereo Stilettos wholly engaging and deliciously playful though, at the time of writing, there’s no indication that you can actually avail yourself of this playful 2.1 speaker setup should you wish to. Still, in an age when so many designers take themselves all too seriously, these Stereo Stilettos really are a breath of fresh air.
