What with the trend in retro flavoured styling still showing no signs of abating any time soon we simply couldn’t hold back on posting about this beautifully retro and highly distinctive mini AM/FM clock radio, though its full specifications are rather hard to decipher (we don’t speak Korean) – but from a design perspective alone it’s undoubtedly a beauty.
Battery or mains powered and manufactured from wood and what we assume to be aluminium (perhaps a native speaker could offer some clarification here), the device measures in at a mere 15 x 5.5 x 8.5cm and, apart from sporting a prominent, gloriously retro tuning dial comes complete with two screens with blue backlighting displaying the date, month, time and even the temperature whilst a single speaker cone is housed on the reverse side of the unit – and its refreshing to see that its free of and form of covering (though this will, of course, make it all the more susceptible to accidental damage).
In truth, apart from stating the above (which is, admittedly, merely stating the obvious) we cannot actually hone in on the units capabilities and further thanks to the page proving resistant to translation engines – the text being displayed in image format – but, after some consideration, we decided it was worth a brief heads up if only because simply oozes retro cool.
Pricing appears to be 26800KRW which equates to around $26 at the time of writing.
