Breville Die-Cast LED Smart Toaster Sports Intelligent Design, Innovative Features [Breville BTA820XL]

A while back we featured the gloriously stylish Philips HD2618 Digital Control Toaster and now, thanks to Breville, we have another decidedly modern toaster to add to our virtual kitchen in the form of this beautifully finished Die-Cast Toaster.

Available in 2-slice and 4-slice varieties, Breville’s Die-Cast ‘Smart’ Toaster comes with intelligent auto control which not only serves to regulate the toasting process but also offers one touch toast lowering – thus facilitating true push button toasting – as well as a ‘Lift and Look’ function which will automatically raise the slices being toasted mid-way allowing you to gauge if they being toasted I line with requirements – though progress can also be checked via a integrated, LED countdown display taking the form of a blue lit bar house on the side of the unit.

Personally, we edge towards the aforementioned Philips device in terms of desirability, but there’s no denying that this Breville toaster would make a great addition to any modern kitchen and that it’s far from undesirable in its own right.
