Jean Pierre Lepine Free Ride Designer Chrome Ball Point Pen is Out Of This World

It would hardly be throwing caution to the wind to say that pens really don’t get much more elaborate or distinctive than this Free Ride Designer Chrome Ball Point Pen designed by Jean Pierre Lepine.

Designed to be highly ergonomic, the Free Ride consists of an arched chrome body with soft rubber inserts placed at the points your fingers hold the device and, whilst we can only wonder as to whether this pen is quite as comfortable in day to day use as the designer infers, there’s no doubting that this is a pen that’s certain to draw more than its fair share of admiring looks in the office (and, for that reason alone, its something that very definitely appeals to us).

Unfortunately Jean Pierre Lepine’s Free Ride appears to have been discontinued at the time of writing, though it remains available in the meantime (until stocks run out) for around $152.
