Having only recently posted about the BiOrb SpyOrb minimalist aquarium we then stumbled across this equally novel Silverfish Aquarium from Octopus Studios which we cannot help but think would suit fish with designs on world domination (it reminds of the sort of bases Bond’s adversaries invariably build themselves).
Unfortunately the imagery contained within this post really doesn’t do any justice to the sheer scale of these setups, though the fact that they hold around 230 litres of water, despite their segmented design, certainly helps to put things into stark perspective.
Suitable for both home and office use and designed specifically for tropical fish who, in the wild, would be exploring coral reefs, the Silverfish Aquarium comes with a wide range of components – from external and under gravel filters to numerous lighting fixtures and gravel vacuums, silk plants (the list is considerable) – and retails for around $3600 (approximately £1829 / €2432 at the time of writing).
