Hudson Swivel Aluminium Office Chair

Originally designed for Ian Schrager’s Hudson Hotel in New York City and manufactured entirely from corrosion resistant aluminium, this is by no means your standard otherwise rather nondescript office chair.

The chair itself, which is available in either brushed or polished finishes, offers 360 degree swivel, seat tilt tension and height adjustment, has been designed to last for 150 years though, as good as it undoubtedly looks, we strongly suspect that the addition of a comfortable cushion – such as the optional vinyl seat pad specifically made to compliment the Hudson and retailing at a cool $95 – may be a wise investment if you’re planning to remain seated for anything near that amount of time.

A Philippe Starck creation, the Hudson Swivel Task Chair retails for $750.
